Come home to yourself.
When we’re feeling stuck or in pain, it can feel impossible to know how to move forward. We may feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges, or have a constant anxiety which plagues us, even if everything seems okay on the surface.Whatever your reason for being here, I will meet you where you’re at. My wish is for you to feel heard, seen, valued and understood, so that together, we can create a safe collaborative space for you to explore what is going on for you.
As a BACP registered psychotherapist specialising in somatic and embodied trauma healing, I have proven experience of helping clients to process and release the emotional burdens which are holding them back. This modality of working aims to get to the root of past trauma which has become trapped in our body, mind and nervous system, keeping us stuck in loops whilst forcing us to carry the pain of the past into our present life.
My intention is to help you get to the root of your challenges through cognitive understanding (to bring what is unconsciously running your life into your conscious awareness), inner parts work (re-integrating split off parts of yourself to bring you back to wholeness) and processing emotional trauma through the body by rewiring the nervous system and dismantling old coping mechanisms, helping you to release the pain which is keeping you stuck.
I believe in your ability to heal yourself, that you already have everything you need within, and that my job is to support you whilst you process the emotional build-up which is splitting you apart.
“Working with Lucy has been a wonderful experience. From the very beginning, she created a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment that allowed me to open up in ways I never thought I could. Lucy has a talent for encouraging me to explore topics that I would've otherwise avoided, and draws out insights I didn’t even know I was holding back. Through our sessions, I’ve learned to trust my own instincts and appreciate my thoughts and feelings. Lucy has helped massively with identifying and differentiating between rational and irrational thoughts, which has been a huge step in managing and understanding my inner dialogue. Together, we break down my thoughts and emotions, uncovering why they arise and how to process them in a healthy, constructive way. I genuinely feel like a transformed person because of Lucy’s guidance. My outlook on life has shifted from one of hesitation and self-doubt to a perspective filled with positivity and self-assurance. Working with her has been an incredibly empowering experience, and I’m so grateful for the impact she’s had on my life.”

"I have worked with Lucy for about 3 years to help untangle and process my anxiety and the underlying causes. I have found her to be a great empathetic listener that I feel safe to talk to every week. She asks insightful questions about my thoughts & feelings which often helps me to view my issues in a different light. I feel like she has helped me a lot through building a strong emotional awareness and refocusing my attention back to my body."

“I came to therapy a year ago looking for a place to understand why I had trouble establishing relationships with people. Lucy made me realize what I was really looking for was a relationship with myself. She gave me space to unwind, to look into myself and discover the person I really am, rather than the person I wanted others to see in me. I cannot underestimate the impact the space she created for me has had in my life. I'm not a person who opens up easily, but with Lucy I can do so without fear of judgement, unsolicited advice or bad council. We navigated through my past and present, and she helped me navigate past my pre-conditioned patterns and innermost fears. I like who I am as a person now, and I am learning to trust my instincts more and more everyday. If you are also looking for a safe space where you can get in touch with the real you, I would whole-heartedly recommend Lucy Ball as the person to guide you in your journey.”
